JIMMY CATALANO
Assistant Coach
Catalano joined Perkins' staff in December 2022, and brings a depth of knowledge to the Huskies from his time as both an athlete at Wisconsin, as well as his experience with the US National Team.
Catalano moves into a full-time role at Northeastern, after helping the Huskies as a Volunteer Coach during the fall season.
The Old Greenwich, Connecticut native is an active US National Team Member, and competed recently at the 2022 World Championships in the Men’s Eight. He also coxed the US Men’s Eight that won the 2022 SH Netz Cup in Rendsburg, Germany, and the US Men’s Eight that won the 2022 Championship Eight event at the 2022 Head of the Charles, and set a new course record time of 13:23.638.
Catalano rowed at the University of Wisconsin from 2017-2022, and most recently earned a Master’s Degree in Private Equity Real Estate. Catalano also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, which he received in 2021.
